Our Austin headquarters features state-of-the-art quantum laboratories and a dedicated quantum communication network.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Develop quantum algorithms targeting exponential speedups for NP-hard problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for industrial applications
- Establish research partnerships with national labs and academic institutions
- Drive innovation in quantum error correction and coherence optimization
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor next-generation quantum computing specialists
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review X)
- Expertise in superconducting qubits, trapped ions, or photonic quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Track record of translating theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Experience securing DoE/NASA/NSF research grants
- Strong background in machine learning integration with quantum systems
