Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical business applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit stability and error correction protocols
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop patentable solutions for quantum supremacy challenges
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Partner with industry leaders to identify quantum computing use cases
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex concepts
