Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and coherence
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and circuit design
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum computing frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, and Q#
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum mechanics
- Expertise in algorithm design and computational complexity
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research papers
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
