Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum computing architectures
- Lead research publications in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum applications for commercial deployment
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Demonstrated ability to work with cryogenic systems or quantum control electronics
- Expertise in at least one high-level programming language (Python, C++, or Rust)
