Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype quantum applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure government/industry grants
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Present findings at international conferences (Q2C, APS March Meeting)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq) or quantum hardware
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($500K+ preferred)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
