Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum cryptography and AI
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and secure $2M+ in government grants
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with superconducting or ion-trap systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and Python/C++
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body physics
