Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Lead open-source quantum computing initiatives in Python/Rust ecosystems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Academy program
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF/DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex research into commercial applications
