Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols
- Develop error correction methodologies for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review X)
- Mentor PhD candidates and cross-functional R&D teams
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published record in quantum information theory or topological quantum computing
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and entanglement protocols
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures or photonic systems
