Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols
- Lead experimental trials on 50+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI engineers to hybridize quantum-classical workflows
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $1M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum physics principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Ability to secure competitive research funding
