Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DoE grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum simulation frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum error correction methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed quantum research
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
