Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit platforms with 99.9% fidelity
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams on quantum-machine learning hybrid models
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week

- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in cryogenic quantum hardware systems (Dilution refrigerators)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience securing government research grants
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Clearance for DOE Quantum Initiative projects (or ability to obtain)
