Responsibilities
- Architect novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and drug discovery
- Optimize qubit stability in cryogenic systems with 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Develop proprietary error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2023 graduates encouraged)
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/IEEE)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of Shor's/Grover's algorithm implementations
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects (or ability to obtain)
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ quantum algorithm designs
