Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve qubit stability and error correction
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communications
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and HPC frameworks
- Expertise in at least one classical programming language (Python, C++, or Rust)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
