Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead breakthrough research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning frameworks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Secure patents for quantum computing methodologies and architectures
- Develop roadmaps for quantum integration into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum computing
- Strong programming skills in Python, Qiskit, or Cirq
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation techniques
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
