Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with materials science teams to develop superconducting qubit architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for practical applications
- Lead research initiatives focused on quantum supremacy milestones
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
