Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of advanced AI/ML models, focusing on scalability and efficiency for 2026 infrastructure.
- Research and prototype novel deep learning architectures, including Transformers and Graph Neural Networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams to integrate AI solutions into real-world applications.
- Optimize model inference latency and reduce computational costs through aggressive quantization and pruning techniques.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data privacy, model governance, and MLOps pipelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (5+ years of industry experience required).
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Deep understanding of machine learning theory, including neural networks, NLP, and computer vision.
- Experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering complex AI systems under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
