Responsibilities
- Core Model Development: Spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge deep learning models, focusing on reinforcement learning and predictive analytics.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct high-level research to identify novel architectures and methodologies that push the boundaries of current AI capabilities.
- Prototype Deployment: Bridge the gap between research and production by deploying scalable prototypes into our cloud infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and engineers to define technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.
- Performance Optimization: Rigorously optimize model latency, throughput, and accuracy to meet enterprise-grade performance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in machine learning research or software engineering with a focus on AI.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Python, C++, and major deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Algorithmic Knowledge: Deep understanding of statistical modeling, optimization algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated track record of solving ambiguous problems and delivering innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
