Responsibilities
- Define and execute the architectural vision for Project 2026, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices.
- Design scalable, distributed microservices architectures capable of handling high-throughput, low-latency environments.
- Lead the technical review process, ensuring code quality, security, and performance across all engineering squads.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies, containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and serverless computing paradigms.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior Architect or Lead Engineer role.
- Deep expertise in System Design, distributed systems, and high-availability architecture.
- Proficiency in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong command of programming languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
- Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
