Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify and prioritize emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic impact modeling
- Design and execute '2026 Vision Workshops' for executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Create actionable strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, climate resilience, and digital transformation
- Establish and maintain global networks of futurists, academic institutions, and industry thought leaders
- Present compelling future narratives through executive briefings, white papers, and stakeholder communications
- Integrate foresight findings into product development, investment decisions, and market expansion strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their 2026+ implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures concepts into actionable business strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futurist projects with measurable business impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) highly valued
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
