Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Develop 3-year strategic roadmaps for enterprise innovation initiatives
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global tech summits
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio for experimental projects
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight network
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proven track record of influencing organizational strategy through foresight
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Wild Cards)
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis and data visualization tools
