Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain predictive models for technological and societal trends through 2030
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive innovations
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports with actionable strategic insights
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing technologies in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Establish cross-industry coalitions for ethical technology governance frameworks
- Advocate for emerging tech policies at national innovation summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of trend analysis with published industry whitepapers
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Experience with Delphi method and horizon scanning techniques
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
