Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal trends to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present executive briefings on disruptive forces impacting our industry landscape
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for trend forecasting
- Design and implement horizon scanning frameworks for early opportunity detection
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
- Author thought leadership publications on future scenarios and strategic implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent (Ph.D. preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience leading global teams across cultural and disciplinary boundaries
- Published work in futurism, innovation strategy, or technology forecasting
