Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Develop 5-10 year strategic scenarios and innovation roadmaps
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing organizational resilience
- Translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and product development
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and domain experts
- Author thought leadership reports on industry disruption vectors
- Mentor junior strategists in future methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven portfolio of published future scenarios implemented by Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend mapping
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and thought leadership
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CSO, WFS)
- Experience building cross-functional innovation ecosystems
