- Lead interdisciplinary teams in prototyping quantum-adjacent technologies and AI-integrated solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies in biotech, nanotech, and decentralized systems
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members using data-driven visualizations
- Collaborate with R&D to commercialize breakthrough innovations with 18-24 month timelines
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental KPIs for innovation impact
- Publish industry thought leadership in partnership with MIT and Stanford research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, IBM Watson)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation cycles
- Published work in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry white papers
- Security clearance for government-contracted innovation projects
