Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning systems to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Create scenario-based strategic frameworks for market evolution and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable foresight
- Produce high-impact trend reports and innovation roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track organizational progress toward 2026 milestones
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions and validate foresight hypotheses
- Represent the organization at global futurism forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate foresight, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex foresight into executive narratives
- Experience building and deploying strategic foresight frameworks in high-growth industries
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Foresight Pro, Trendalyzer) and data visualization tools
