Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology convergence points
- Develop predictive models for emerging tech adoption curves and market impacts
- Architect strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI integration and bio-digital interfaces
- Facilitate scenario-planning workshops with executive leadership teams
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future-state ecosystems
- Manage innovation portfolio with $50M+ annual R&D budget allocation
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategy
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning methodology mastery
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Experience with Delphi methods and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations
