Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging technology trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite on disruptive forces shaping 2030+ industries
- Conduct horizon scanning and publish annual technology impact reports
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech
- Represent the company at global tech summits and shape industry discourse
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals or industry thought leadership platforms
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation challenges
