Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI ethics, quantum adoption, and climate-tech integration
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our Silicon Valley innovation lab
- Advise executive board on emerging tech risks and opportunities through quarterly strategic briefings
- Mentor junior futurists and establish university partnerships for talent pipeline development
- Represent the company at Davos, CES, and exclusive industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or equivalent with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record in developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Published author or keynote speaker at premier tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Proficiency in futures methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and cross-impact matrices
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental teams
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech commercialization cycles from concept to market
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
