Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact analysis
- Develop technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and climate tech verticals
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for executive and board audiences
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development cycles
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech foresight conferences
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio with ROI tracking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial IP or products
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI, biotech, energy, etc.)
- Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in tech/future studies
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic modeling tools
