Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to market launch for 2026 initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop strategic frameworks for evaluating and prioritizing R&D investments
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate future concepts
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for tracking innovation portfolio performance
- Manage annual $5M+ innovation budget allocation across high-impact projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in corporate innovation, R&D, or strategic planning roles
- Proven track record launching at least 3 market-disrupting products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, IXL) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for innovation portfolio valuation
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology journals
