Responsibilities
- Lead Complex Logistics: Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage venue operations, transportation, and hospitality logistics for the 2026 tournament.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for government officials, international federations, and local vendors to ensure alignment on project milestones.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to address potential operational challenges and ensure seamless event execution.
- Legacy Planning: Oversee the transition of temporary infrastructure into sustainable, long-term community assets post-tournament.
- Budget & Compliance: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure strict adherence to safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in project management within large-scale construction, event management, or government infrastructure projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or Civil Engineering; PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a strong plus.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performance teams and foster a collaborative culture.
