Responsibilities
- Develop and test scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Contribute to open-source projects with mentor guidance
- Participate in code reviews and implement security best practices
- Create technical documentation and API specifications
- Present project progress to engineering leadership bi-weekly
- Optimize application performance using profiling tools
- Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree
- 3.2+ GPA with enrollment in accredited college/university
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Git/GitHub
- Experience with RESTful APIs and relational databases
- Ability to commit 40 hours/week for 12 weeks (June-August)
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithm fundamentals
- Portfolio demonstrating 2+ personal or academic projects
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
