What You Will Do
As a Software Engineer on our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade software solutions. You will work directly with senior engineers to tackle complex challenges and contribute to projects that impact millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Charlotte, NC, and remote Ohio offices to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews to ensure code quality and technical best practices.
- Assist in the design and implementation of robust APIs and database management systems to support our core products.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (sophomore, junior, or senior standing preferred).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 required for college credit eligibility.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and familiarity with web development frameworks (React, Angular, or Node.js).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
