Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test software components using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Debugging: Assist in identifying, debugging, and resolving complex software defects and performance issues.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation, including API documentation and code comments, to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Collaboration: Participate in agile development ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Must be eligible to receive college credit for this internship.
- GPA: A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or C#) and basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Tools: Proficiency in using Git for version control and basic understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work 20-40 hours per week during the semester and full-time during breaks.
