Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and test high-quality software components.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Agile Participation: Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
- Debugging & Testing: Assist in identifying and fixing bugs, as well as writing unit tests to ensure software reliability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API docs, and system architecture diagrams.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools, presenting innovative ideas to improve our tech stack.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Technical Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and database management concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (20-30 hours/week) with a start date in Summer or Fall 2024.
