Our interns gain exposure to full-stack development, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies while building real-world applications for local businesses. You'll receive personalized mentorship, technical training workshops, and networking events with Philadelphia's tech community.
Competitive compensation includes hourly pay plus access to our professional development fund for certifications or conferences. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position with flexible start dates between May-August 2024.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Debug and optimize application performance using modern development tools
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Contribute to our open-source projects and tech blog
- Present project progress to stakeholders during weekly demos
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and one backend language (Python/Java/Node.js)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team settings
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Available for full-time commitment (40 hrs/week) during internship period
