Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in various programming languages under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Debugging & Testing: Identify, diagnose, and fix software defects. Participate in unit testing and code reviews to ensure high product quality.
- Feature Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of new software features and enhancements for our client-facing platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver projects on time.
- Technical Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation, API specs, and internal wikis to maintain knowledge base integrity.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices, proposing innovative solutions to team challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++). Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, React, or Angular) is a plus.
- Academic Performance: Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems and think critically about system architecture.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time or part-time schedule for a minimum of 12 weeks during the summer or fall semester.
