Responsibilities
- Develop microservices using Python/Java and deploy on AWS/Azure
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerize applications with Docker
- Write unit tests and optimize code performance under senior guidance
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Debug production issues and contribute to open-source initiatives
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation
- Present project milestones to cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree (Sophomore+ standing)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and relational databases
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Problem-solving skills demonstrated through personal projects or hackathons
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available 20-40 hours/week through Fall 2024
