Responsibilities
- Develop and test software components using Java, Python, and React frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions
- Participate in agile development cycles including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Document code, processes, and technical specifications using industry standards
- Debug and resolve issues in existing applications under senior engineer guidance
- Present project progress and outcomes to stakeholders bi-weekly
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong academic standing (GPA 3.0+) with sophomore/junior/senior status
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or C++)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies
- Ability to work 40 hours/week for 10-12 weeks (June-August)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must arrange for academic credit through your institution
