Responsibilities
- Develop and test microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with AWS cloud services
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Write unit tests and optimize application performance
- Collaborate using Git/GitHub and Jira workflows
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation
- Shadow senior engineers during code reviews and architecture sessions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with version control (Git) and relational databases
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Available for 12-20 hours/week during summer/fall semester
