Your Role
You will assist in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment. This is not just a shadowing role—you will write code and see your solutions come to life.
Responsibilities
- Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, JavaScript, or Java under the supervision of senior developers.
- Testing: Assist in unit testing and debugging applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align with team goals.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and update project wikis to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Research: Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.
- User Support: Troubleshoot issues reported by end-users and provide timely resolutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming: Strong understanding of at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Database: Basic knowledge of SQL and database management principles.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and development environments (VS Code, IntelliJ).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and ask questions.
- Availability: Able to commit to a 12-16 week internship schedule (Summer or Fall).
