Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Python and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Implement RESTful APIs and optimize database queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Participate in Agile sprint planning and code review sessions
- Debug and resolve production issues with senior engineers
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation
- Collaborate with UX team to implement responsive frontend solutions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree (Sophomore/Junior/Senior)
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript; experience with Django/React a plus
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows
- Ability to work 15-20 hours/week during academic semesters
- Must be eligible for college credit through your institution
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic projects required
