Responsibilities
- Assist senior software engineers in the design, development, and testing of web and mobile applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing software systems to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA specialists.
- Conduct research on new technologies and tools to propose improvements to current development workflows.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be eligible to receive college credit for internship work (university partnership required).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
