Responsibilities
- Development: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python and JavaScript under the guidance of senior developers.
- Testing & Debugging: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including unit testing, code reviews, and debugging complex issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define product requirements and user stories.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation for new features and API integrations.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to propose innovative solutions.
- Support: Assist in troubleshooting production issues and improving system performance and security.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Academic Performance: Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, C++, or C#) and familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Tools: Experience with version control systems (Git) and basic understanding of SQL databases.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Availability: Able to commit to a 12-week, full-time internship schedule during the summer.
