Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python and Java under the guidance of senior developers.
- Project Support: Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and web platforms.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation, API specs, and user guides to support project deliverables.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and agile sprint planning sessions.
- Research: Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative solutions to team challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Academic Standing: Must be eligible to receive college credit for an internship (transcript verification required).
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript preferred).
- Education: Familiarity with database concepts (SQL) and web technologies (HTML/CSS).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Able to commit to 20-25 hours per week for the duration of the internship (on-site or hybrid in Charlotte).
