Responsibilities
- Develop scalable microservices using Python and Go
- Optimize database queries for PostgreSQL and Redis
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline
- Write unit/integration tests with PyTest and Jest
- Participate in agile sprint planning and retrospectives
- Contribute to open-source projects via GitHub
- Present project outcomes to engineering leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript
- Experience with Linux command line and Git
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and JSON
- Strong problem-solving skills through algorithm challenges
- Available for 3-6 months (June-December start)
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
