Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Python/Java on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Implement RESTful APIs and optimize database queries (PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
- Participate in agile sprints with daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives
- Write unit tests and conduct code reviews using GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Debug and resolve production issues under senior engineer guidance
- Contribute to open-source projects during dedicated innovation hours
- Present technical findings to cross-functional teams bi-weekly
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (graduating 2024-2026)
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through personal projects or hackathons
- Excellent communication abilities and collaborative mindset
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
