Apex Digital Systems is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern to join our high-growth team in San Diego. We are looking for students who are passionate about technology and eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world environment. This is a paid, immediate hire opportunity for the Summer 2024 cohort.
As an Intern, you will work directly with senior engineers on scalable web applications and cloud infrastructure. You will be exposed to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software solutions and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with a focus on performance and usability.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure system stability.
- Write clean, well-documented code and maintain technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
