Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and cloud technologies
- Participate in agile development cycles including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Write clean, efficient code following industry best practices and SOLID principles
- Debug and optimize existing systems to improve performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to deliver cohesive solutions
- Document technical specifications and contribute to team knowledge base
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders and receive constructive feedback
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex requirements
- Basic understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, REST APIs)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in team environments
- Available to commit 20-40 hours/week during summer or fall semester
- Portfolio or GitHub repository demonstrating personal projects (preferred)
