Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python
- Build responsive frontend components with React and TypeScript
- Write unit tests and optimize database queries (PostgreSQL)
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Debug production issues using cloud monitoring tools
- Contribute to open-source projects under mentor guidance
- Present project outcomes to engineering leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and SQL fundamentals
- Experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services
- Problem-solving skills demonstrated through personal projects
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Available for 20-40 hours/week through December 2024
- Authorization to work in the US required
